Dating:
The happy couple became friends as Juniors in high school. They continued to date after high school. And the love began to grow. They went on family vacations with each others families. The Parents and grandparents all became great friends. There was some minor events in each others lives that both families took part in. One was the groom working on his Eagle Scout project, and him becoming an Eagle Scout. What an accomplishment! And the bride was in cheer leading and took part in several state events. What a cute couple.
Starting life together
So of course they couldn’t wait to be come a responsible couple, so they found an apartment and moved in together. As time went by there was an engagement ring. Now that was when it started to become fun and crazy. Wow! We had to make wedding plans. So instantly we started looking for a venue. That was crazy looking at all of the options, to choose from. There were lots of elegant features. They each had something that was more likeable than others. They did finally decided on the perfect one.
Planning for the wedding
After the venue was all set, next there had to be a cater. That brought the samplings for food and cake as well as for the food. It was always an event and a lot of fun. Sometimes a little crazy trying to set a time when we could all meet with the caters. These little events were always full of fun and laughter. We were always there as a group. Of course shopping for the wedding dress and also the brides maids dresses. Not forgetting the groom looking for the tuxes for groomsmen. There are soo many options. Finally all of those decisions are set into place.. The DJ is set, the flowers are made and all has started to come together. Good! Because all of a sudden it is almost time for the wedding.
The Big Day is here
Wedding day is here! Everybody is hoping this all goes off without any glitches. Dream On! One of the first and amazing things to happen. A very close cousin who is in the military, and didn’t think he would be able to attend. Well guess who drove in SURPRISE! Just what the Dr. ordered! Everyone was over joyed to see him. The dresses were all beautiful, and went well with the guys tuxedos. The wedding went off without anything crazy happening. The dinner was awesome and all was well. After the dinner was the dance. It was lead off with of course the Bride and Groom’s traditional dance. Then to the surprise of the grooms grandparents. They had a dance just for the grooms grandparents who had just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. What a wonderful tribute to them and did not take away from the beautiful wedding. And it all went off without any major glitches. It was a wonderful day that now one will forget for a long time!
